In 2018, after making 6 trips to India for her yoga training, Maureen was burnt out, frustrated with her yoga practice, and a little lost. She needed a break from teaching yoga, and even took a break from her asana practice, opting for a gym workouts instead. She picked up a part time job at a friend's restaurant, and just bided her time until the next answers would come. 

​Well, they did, and the message was loud and clear. In 2020, when all the restaurants had to close because of the pandemic, Maureen was sent home and was ready for a break from the restaurant biz. But the day after she was sent home from the restaurant, she knew that many other people were stuck at home too, so she started teaching daily yoga classes live on her YouTube Channel. And you know what? Lot's of her students showed up to her daily classes, and she realized she needed to revive her yoga career.

A few weeks later, she received an email from Yoga Alliance with an application link to apply to get her teacher training online. Immediately she applied and was approved. 

Within a few months she had created a completely online yoga teacher training that was "do it yourself" or self- paced. Many people signed up. She was elated.
But guess what? No one was completing the lessons.
 
​That's when Maureen revamped the entire Yoga Teacher Training Program so that students would have connection with a teacher and be motivated to complete the program in 12 weeks. It worked, and now 99% of our students have completed our 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training on time and 100% of our 300 Hour Students have completed it in 5 months.
